APPLYING FOR THE COURSE
Please email us with your name and address, and we'll send you the course application forms and a copy of our prospectus.
We have room for about 60 ordinands and up to 15 reader candidates and independent students at NTMTC. This represents an average entry per year of 25 students, and there is usually a strong demand for places.
We can only work on a first-come, first-served basis, but we recognise that, so far as Anglican students are concerned, bishops' advisory panels are held throughout the year until the end of July for entry into training in September. Our policy, therefore, is to encourage prospective students to make early application for places, even though they may not have attended an advisory panel yet.
If you are a prospective Anglican ordinand, we will invite you to visit us for part of the Saturday at a residential weekend once we have received your completed application form. Following this, you will be invited for interview and we may offer you a provisional place, or a definite place if you have already been sponsored for training.
If you accept, we will add you to our A-list of prospective students for entry in the following September, whether or not you have yet attended a bishop's advisory panel and been officially sponsored by your bishop.
You need to apply and/or indicate your acceptance of a provisional place as early as possible, if you want to be sure of getting a place to train for ministry with us.
