Middlesex University reform of degree class marks

Middlesex University has revised the 20 point scale for marking that determines student degree classes.  There are no longer to be border-line marks between first and upper second, upper second and lower second and lower second and third class.Read more...

Access Course starting September 2009

We are delighted to report that the Archbishops’ Council has granted NTMTC-St Mellitus College funding to establish and develop an Access Course. This course will be tailored to those who sense a calling to public ministry, but who are not yet ready to embark on the degree and diploma programmes followed by our ordinands, reader candidates and independent students.Read more...

NTMTC CROSSES THE CHANNEL

January 2009 It has just been confirmed that the annual residential week, at which NTMTC staff and students join with the rest of the St Mellitus community in seven days of intensive study and fellowship, will be held this year in France, at the Maison Diocésaine d’Accueil de Merville, near Lille. This venue has been used by a number of Church of England groups in recent years, but it is the first time that NTMTC has taken its residential week abroad. The Centre is very well equipped for our purposes and promises to add a fresh dimension to our life and learning together.Read more...

December 2008 The Director of NTMTC, Revd Dr David Hilborn, has added another title to a list of publications which includes previous books on Christianity and Postmodernity, Eschatology, Charismatic Spirituality, and the History and Theology of Evangelicalism.Read more...

NTMTC launched online library service for the church

For the past two years, NTMTC has been in discussion with two major academic resource providers online, on how best to make their content available to NTMTC students – as well as to the students of the newly formed St Mellitus College, plus clergy, readers and church workers. The two providers are Questia, the world's biggest online library, and ATLA, the American Theological Library Association.Read more...

David Hilborn appointed director of NTMTC

We are pleased to announce that Rev Dr David Hilborn has been appointed as our new Director. David was previously Director of Studies at NTMTC and has been Acting Director since March 2007.

In his new role, David will be working closely with Rev Dr Graham Tomlin, Dean of St Mellitus College – the exciting new venture in theological education for the region, of which NTMTC is a founding constituent member along with St Paul’s Theological Centre in West London.
